“We stayed at this boutique hotel recently with two of our friends and loved the quaint feel to the property. The location was a short ride away from the old part of Chiangmai. The staff were so friendly and warm. We spent an afternoon having a cooking class with Mai and her team and it was fantastic. We were able to request the dishes we wanted to learn to cook and everything was done with a smile. We had a lovely time here and have even received copies of all the recipes of the dishes we cooked. We had a great time there.”

Great first stop in Thailand!
Chiang Mai was our first stop on our recent trip to Thailand. We had booked at Ruen Come In based only on reviews we read on Trip Advisor. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival...first by our quiet but kind driver, Kob, and then the welcome we received by Mu(?) and finally by the property itself. We reserved 2 side-by-side rooms for our family of 5. The rooms were very nice...very clean, very comfy beds and beautifully trimmed with dark wood which was throughout the whole hotel. It is a small hotel so nothing on the property is too far away. There is a restaurant at the hotel which serves the best Pad Thai, Chicken fried rice and Mango sticky rice among other things. Unfortunately I caught something on the plane ride over so I stayed in the room for the first 24 hrs or so. The staff (Mai and Patt) were so kind and thoughtful...after the rest of my family had eaten supper at the restaurant, Mai (the owner) sent some cooked organic rice back to the room with my husband for me to eat as my tummy wasn't 100%! During our 4-night stay we also participated in a cooking class right on the property. Previous to the class, Mai drove us to a local organic market to sample Thai foods and produce and to purchase the items needed for our cooking class. Mai, Patt and other staff members set up a beautiful presentation of all our ingredients and we proceeded to make several delicious authentic Thai dishes. We also appreciated the eco-friendly, organic and "green" principles the hotel practices. The breakfast each morning was delicious and many of the ingredients were farm-fresh, grown at the owner's farm and homemade! Overall, the staff went the extra mile to give us an awesome experience in Chiang Mai. We really got to see the culture in a personal way through the hospitality of everyone at Ruen Come In. Thanks Mai, Patt, Mu and Kob! :)
